Service is great!
This place should never be advertised as accommodation for travellers. The people who run it are not horrible (as stated in the other review) as they are doing a service for homeless folk and as such, have hearts of gold.However, the whole building is in a very run down state and wouldn't pass a health and safety check. There were ants in the bedroom and bed bugs (!!), and no hot water in the upstairs shower. The electrical wiring was positively unsafe as well, with the cord to the air con taped up with gaffa tape.The cost is nly $40 per night, with very little food available, particulary at weekends....I guess you get what you pay for!Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The people who run the Hotel are terrible people who always get Giff Raff from drug addicts to alcoholics staying there and always have the local police turn up at their front door step on a weekly basis
This is a guesthouse - not a hotel, so don't expect room service or your own bathroom. But it's a charming old property in good order - clean and friendly and fabulous value
